Your next role
Housing and Corporate Repairs sit at the heart of people’s everyday lives, and we’re on a improvement journey to transform how we deliver for our residents. Our ambition is clear: to provide outstanding customer service, deliver value for money, and build modern, responsive services centred around residents’ needs.
It’s an exciting time to join us. We’re investing heavily, embracing innovation, and empowering our teams to make a real difference.
This role plays an important part in supporting the delivery of housing and corporate property projects through the production of accurate digital design information. Reporting to the Service Manager or Service Lead, you will provide specialist CAD support, producing drawings and models that inform project delivery, tender documentation and contract administration.
You will prepare and maintain CAD drawings and digital models for a range of property projects, ensuring designs meet technical standards and statutory requirements. Working closely with surveyors, engineers, quantity surveyors and commercial colleagues, you will support tender packages and undertake contract administration functions, including maintaining design records, supporting variations, and assisting with payment certificate and valuation information related to design work. You will ensure drawings are controlled, updated and issued in line with agreed procedures.
Alongside design delivery, you will contribute to service improvement by applying digital best practice, supporting health and safety through design risk awareness and maintaining accurate records and documentation. You will work collaboratively across the service to ensure designs support efficient, compliant and value‑for‑money project delivery.
You will have experience producing technical CAD drawings within a housing, property or construction environment, with good knowledge of building regulations and design standards. Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD) essential, along with an understanding of tender documentation and contract administration processes. A relevant technical or construction‑related qualification is desirable. You will bring a methodical, organised approach and the ability to work accurately within a multi‑disciplinary team.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
