Full job description

About Us: At Frozen Computers, we are a small, local computer repair business that keeps our community connected. We repair everything from university students' laptops to high-end gaming computers, phones, and tablets. We also offer local call-out services. We are looking for a creative marketing apprentice to help us showcase what we do to a much wider audience!

The Role: We want you to take ownership of our digital presence. Your main focus will be on social media and content creation, building brand awareness, and reaching new customers. You will earn an industry-recognised Level 3 qualification while getting total creative freedom to market our tech services.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media & Content: Create engaging, tech-focused content (photos, videos, graphics) for our social media platforms.
Audience Growth: Develop campaigns that reach a wider audience beyond our immediate local footfall, including targeting university students and gamers.
Market Research: Keep an eye on digital trends in the tech and gaming repair space to keep our content fresh.
Brand Awareness: Support local advertising and help promote our call-out services.

Our Hiring Process: We want to ensure you love working with us before committing to the apprenticeship:

Stage 1: Initial Interview (where we’d love to see any creative content you’ve made!).
Stage 2: A 1–2 week work experience/trial period to test out your ideas in the shop.
Stage 3: Final offer and enrolment onto the apprenticeship for October!

The Apprenticeship (Blackburn College): You will study the Multi-Channel Marketer Level 3 Apprenticeship (18 months training + 5 months assessment), attending Blackburn College monthly alongside online learning.

Requirement: Must have GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 (C) or above.

Pay: £8.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Ashton-on-Ribble PR2 2NN
