Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team at the Fish and Chip Shop. This role involves providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving high-quality fish and chips in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook fish and chips according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food items are prepared in a timely manner to meet customer demand.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling additional items when appropriate.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Skills
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions effectively.
- Experience in food preparation within a restaurant or culinary setting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
