Mable’s Tea Room in Mablethorpe is a well known vintage licensed Tea Room.
We are seeking a reliable experienced barista to join our small friendly family team who strive to deliver an enjoyable customer experience at all times. Be able to work in a fast paced environment and multitask under pressure.
As a Barista, you will be mainly be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, preparing drinks and cocktails from our bar to our customers, however other duties will include taking food & drink orders, using the till and delivering food & drinks to tables.
Your friendly demeanour and exceptional customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including beers, wine and preparing cocktails.
- Take customer orders and accurately input them into the point-of-sale system.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers.
- Operate various equipment, such as coffee machines, blenders, and grinders.
- Collaborate with team members in the kitchen and front of house members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista / Bar is essential.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order preparation.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Effective communication skills.

Candidates must be flexible with regards to their working hours and must be able to cover day shifts including Saturdays and bank holidays. Further training and handover will also be provided.
