Zealous Electrical NW Ltd is a growing electrical and renewables contractor working on domestic and commercial projects across the UK. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Electrician’s Mate / Electrical Labourer to support our qualified electricians on solar PV, battery storage, ventilation, and electrical installation projects.

This is a great opportunity for someone with site experience who wants to develop their skills, gain hands-on experience, and progress within the electrical and renewable energy sector.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assisting qualified electricians with the installation of Solar PV systems and battery storage
Supporting the installation of ventilation systems and electric storage heaters
Helping with cable runs, containment, mounting equipment, and general electrical labouring duties
Preparing tools, materials, and equipment for site work
Keeping work areas clean, organised, and safe
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Working as part of a team to complete installations to a high standard and within agreed timescales
Travelling to different sites as required

Requirements

Previous site experience as an Electrician’s Mate, Electrical Labourer, or similar role is preferred
Basic understanding of electrical installation work and safe working practices
CSCS or ECS card preferred, but not essential
Full UK driving licence preferred
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Physically fit and comfortable with practical site-based work
Comfortable working at height where required, with appropriate training and safety procedures in place
Willingness to travel for work when required

Job Types

Subcontractor or freelance opportunities may also be considered depending on experience and suitability.
