Working Site Supervisor & Project Coordinator
Location: Nationwide (UK) / Southport Based

Role Overview
The Working Site Supervisor & Project Coordinator is responsible for the successful delivery of landscaping and garden refurbishment projects from initial site survey through to final completion, customer sign-off and invoicing.
This is a hands-on, nationwide role requiring regular travel and frequent overnight stays, with approximately 75% of the role spent working away from home on-site and 25% in our Southport office-working on administration .
The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time on the tools where required, carrying out site surveys, visiting active projects, supporting installation teams, checking quality of workmanship, monitoring progress and supervising Site Foremen and installation crews. The remaining time will be spent in the Southport office preparing quotations following surveys, organising materials and labour, managing project administration, raising invoices and ensuring all project documentation is up to date.
The Project Manager will work closely with customers, Site Foremen, suppliers and the Operations Manager to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, within budget and to Envirolawn's expected standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed site surveys, measurements and site assessments.
- Prepare quotations and project costings following completed surveys.
- Plan, programme and manage projects from quotation acceptance through to completion and final invoicing.
- Schedule projects in line with labour, materials, plant and operational resources.
- Coordinate suppliers, deliveries, plant hire, accommodation and specialist equipment.
- Attend pre-start meetings and prepare all project documentation, including RAMS and Construction Phase Plans.
- Mobilise projects and provide site briefings to Site Foremen and installation teams.
- Visit active sites regularly to monitor progress, quality, Health & Safety and workforce performance.
- Support installation teams on the tools where required and assist with problem-solving on site.
- Check the standard of workmanship, ensuring projects meet EnviroLawn's quality expectations.
- Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates and managing expectations.
- Monitor project costs, material usage, variations and additional works, reporting concerns to the Operations Manager.
- Complete final quality inspections, manage snagging, obtain customer sign-off and ensure projects are closed correctly.
- Arrange off-hire of plant, return of surplus materials and completion of all project documentation.
- Raise invoices and ensure projects are fully completed administratively.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from initial quotation through to completion, customer sign-off and invoicing.
- Maintain accurate project records within Jobber and company systems.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support, mentor and guide Site Foremen throughout project delivery.
- Assist installation teams on-site whenever additional labour or technical support is required.
- Coordinate vehicle, equipment and resource allocation across multiple live projects.
- Organise materials and deliveries to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Respond to operational challenges including staffing shortages, vehicle breakdowns, material delays and adverse weather.
- Promote and enforce high standards of workmanship, customer service and Health & Safety.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery, efficiency, quality and profitability.
- Assist with developing company processes and operational procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience managing landscaping, construction, civil engineering or external works projects.
- Comfortable working on-site and leading by example in a hands-on role.
- Strong project planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, leadership and customer relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation and site management.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Experience using Jobber or similar job management software is desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home for approximately 75% of the role.
Desirable Qualifications
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid at Work.
- Landscaping or construction-related qualifications.

Pre-Employment Requirements
- Full, clean, UK Driving Licence.
- Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS Check due to the nature of projects undertaken.
