Property Care & Facilities Operative
Location: Reading & Surrounding Areas
Hours: Guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility and regular opportunities to increase up to 40 hours per week as the role develops and business requirements grow.
Salary: £15.00 per hour (£15,600 per annum based on a 20-hour week), with the opportunity to increase earnings through additional contracted hours.

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and conscientious Property Care & Facilities Operative to join our growing team.
This is a flexible and varied role where no two weeks will be the same. You'll begin with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week, with genuine opportunities to increase your hours as our Property Care services continue to expand.
Your primary responsibility will be maintaining our office, serviced accommodation properties and company facilities to an exceptional standard, while supporting the wider team with a variety of property care and presentation tasks.
Your ResponsibilitiesOffice & Facilities
- Take ownership of the cleanliness and presentation of our office.
- Clean offices to an exceptional standard.
- Clean kitchen and staff welfare areas.
- Clean toilets and washrooms.
- Empty bins and recycling.
- Load and unload the dishwasher.
- Wash up where required.
- Restock tea, coffee, cleaning products and other consumables.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
- Internal window cleaning where required.
- Keep external entrance areas clean and welcoming.
- Water and care for office plants.
- Keep cleaning equipment organised and maintained.
- Wash company vehicles (approximately one vehicle every fortnight).
- Assist with maintaining the overall appearance of our warehouse and office.
Serviced Accommodation (Airbnb)
Depending on guest bookings:
- Full property cleaning.
- Change bedding and towels.
- Laundry.
- Make beds to a hotel-quality standard.
- Restock guest consumables.
- Report maintenance issues or damage.
- Take photographs following each clean to demonstrate the completed standard.
- Ensure each property is presented to an exceptional standard before every guest arrival.
Property Care Services
As the role develops, you may also assist with:
- Professional LVT floor deep cleaning and maintenance.
- Floor care services for homeowners and developers.
- End-of-build sparkle cleans.
- Show home preparation.
- Customer care visits.
- Warranty support visits.
- Property presentation.
- General property maintenance and presentation tasks.
About You
Previous cleaning experience is welcomed but is not essential.
We are far more interested in finding someone who genuinely takes pride in their work and enjoys maintaining high standards.
