Job description
We are looking for a Tractor Driver/GFW to join our farm team and run all the daily machinery operations. We are a modern family-run dairy farm. 420 summer-calving cows, TMR-fed with new telehandler and Claas machinery.
Your role will be varied and will include:
- feeding full TMR to cows and heifers
- mechanical bedding of loose yards
- muck carting to neighbouring farms
- machinery maintenance and keeping yard/silage pits tidy
- some help with livestock handling may be required at times
Experience with tractor and telehandler work is essential. TMR experience preferred. We are looking for an applicant who will take charge of managing the feed stocks, fuel deliveries and running the daily machinery operations. You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for weekly maintenance tasks and organising servicing from local dealers.
Full time approx. 40 hrs per week. Regular hours and fixed time off. Ideal start date 28th September 2026.
