Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Site Labourer with a Slinger's Certificate to join our team at our site in Maidstone. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting construction and site operations, ensuring that projects progress smoothly and safely. Duties
- MUST HAVE A SLINGER'S CERTIFICATE
- Be able to tie a tube knot and board knot
- Assisting with site preparation, including clearing debris and organising materials
- Loading and unloading materials using manual handling equipment or by hand
- Assisting tradespeople with their tasks as directed
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by disposing of waste and hazards appropriately
- Moving tools, equipment, and materials around the site as needed
- Supporting the setup and dismantling of site facilities such as fencing, signage, and temporary structures
- Following health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks on site
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar labouring or construction support role is advantageous but not essential
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual tasks over extended periods
- Strong organisational skills and attention to safety protocols
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different site environments
- Valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory
- A proactive approach with a positive attitude towards work commitments
