We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full Time Barber to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair styling and customer service, with the ability to deliver high-quality grooming services in a welcoming environment. The position is full-time, providing consistent hours and a chance to develop your career within a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, trims, shaves, and grooming treatments tailored to client preferences
Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with clients in a friendly and professional manner
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the salon, ensuring all tools and workstations are sanitised after each use
Consult with clients to understand their desired styles and offer expert advice on haircare and grooming options
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and barbering
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and optimise client flow
Uphold salon policies and health & safety regulations at all times

Skills

Proven experience as a barber with a strong portfolio of hair styling work
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
Strong communication skills in English, capable of clearly understanding client needs and explaining grooming options
Proficiency in various barbering techniques including fades, line-ups, beard trimming, and colouring if applicable
Organised with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment
Professional appearance with a friendly demeanour and positive attitude
Ability to work well as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when required
