Change Associate
A fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading independent financial advisory and wealth management firms.
We are looking for those of you who wish to grow with us as a business in our Bromsgrove office with hybrid working opportunities. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus a range of benefits.
This role is a core function within the business, as you will provide efficient, timely and effective support to the Change team, serving as an entry-level role within Business Change and contributing to the successful delivery of strategic projects and system changes across the business.
As a Change Associate, you will support current-state process reviews, gather and analyse information to inform future-state designs, and work closely with Change Managers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to deliver effective change across the business. The role also includes making configuration changes within the CRM system (Xplan), with appropriate testing and controls, and requires someone who can bring clarity, structure and momentum to ambiguous situations.
Key Responsibilities as our Change Associate will include:
- Support Business Analysts in reviewing change requests from across the business, ensuring appropriate governance, sign-off, testing and release, including configuration changes within Xplan.
- Support the delivery and deployment of changes to in-scope systems and processes, including making configuration changes in Xplan and coordinating appropriate user testing.
- Support wider impact assessments that may result from any proposed changes.
- Engage with stakeholders, coordinate meetings, prepare supporting documentation, take accurate meeting notes, and communicate clearly with stakeholders across the business.
- Provide support to the Change team in implementing changes that enable strategic initiatives.
- Manage timelines, competing demands and changing priorities through strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.
- Work effectively in situations where requirements or information may initially be unclear, using questioning, analysis and stakeholder engagement to bring clarity and progress.
- Support Change Managers with the production and maintenance of project plans and reporting.
- Taking a flexible approach to work, actively engaging in ad-hoc responsibilities to support the wider delivery of each initiative.
- Any other reasonable request made by a Director/Manager.
What we are looking for in our ideal Change Associate:
- This is an entry-level role within Business Change, suited to someone looking to build a career in change delivery, business analysis and systems change.
- Understanding of project and change delivery environments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.
- Proactive nature, self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative.
- Ability to balance priorities and deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Confidence working through ambiguity, using sound judgement to define problems, gather information and support clear next steps.
- Experience of working with business systems or CRM platforms, ideally including exposure to configuration changes in Xplan or a similar system.
- Experience in developing successful relationships.
- An understanding of gathering data and structuring this in a meaningful way.
- Comfortable with change on a regular basis.
