AMK Laboratories Ltd is part of Turret Orthodontics, a specialist Orthodontics with four orthodontic practices across the UK. Established for over a decade, we continue to grow and lead in innovative orthodontics. Established for over 10 years, the Laboratory is now growing and requires a competent and ambitious manager to lead the small team and manage the lab operations and client base. Our products include orthodontic appliances, functional appliances, fixed and removal appliance, aligners, retainers, and additional appliances.

We are seeking a capable Orthodontic Dental Laboratory Manager to join our dynamic and friendly team. AMK Laboratories Ltd, part of Turret Orthodontics Ltd, operates a single laboratory that manufactures dental appliances for multiple practices using 3D printing. Our range includes orthodontic appliances, functional appliances, fixed and removable appliances, aligners, retainers, and other specialist appliances.
Established for over 12 years, the Laboratory is now growing and requires a competent and ambitious manager to lead the small team and manage the lab operations and client base.
The successful candidate will be managing and running the operation of our growing dental lab, printing 3D aligners. You will need to be registered with the GDC and will ideally have the additional following key skills:
- Experience of managing a lab
- Strong organisational skills

- High level of manual dexterity
- Mature attitude and determination to succeed
- Well presented
- Work well within and manage a small team
- knowledge of orthodontics desirable but not essential
The job will include:
- Managing the operation of the dental lab
- 3D printing of models and production of retainers and aligners
- Cutting, trimming and smoothening of aligners and retainers
- Scanning import and export to ortho systems
- Maintaining full and accurate laboratory records
- Ensuring the right materials are used to make each individual appliance
- Packaging and preparing appliances for delivery
- Ordering of materials
- Managing the lab process and invoices
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a laboratory management role within the dental sector.
- Strong knowledge of patient care practices
- An interest and willing to learn orthodontics.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and patients.
- High level Qualification (BSc/HND or equivalent)
- Familiarity with IT systems relevant to laboratory operations is preferred.
- Familiar with Itero and Delta Face 3D printing
