Assessment Centres to be held in Droylsden on 15th & 17th July

Senior Mental Health Support Worker (Days & Nights)
Location: Droylsden, Manchester
Pay: £15.00 per hour (£16.50 overtime)
Hours: Full-Time – 38.5 Hours Per Week (8am-8pm & 8pm-8am, 2-week rolling rota)

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll combine hands-on care delivery with leadership responsibilities, including:
Delivering high-quality, person-centred mental health care
Acting as a role model, setting standards for best practice
Leading shifts and supporting the day-to-day running of the service
Supervising and mentoring Support Workers, including induction and development
Supporting care planning, risk assessments, and clinical documentation
Promoting recovery through meaningful activity, independence, and social inclusion
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Supporting a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment

What We’re Looking For

Experience working within a mental health or rehabilitation setting
Experience supporting or leading others (or ready to step into a senior role)
A strong understanding of person-centred, recovery-focused care
Confidence in decision-making and leadership
A compassionate, resilient, and positive approach
A passion for making care a long-term career
