About the Role
As a Retail Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our day-to-day store operations and sales floor in Manchester. You’ll work on the floor, serve customers, keep merchandise displays running smoothly, and support your team across different areas of the business. What You'll Do
Customer Engagement & Floor Support
- Welcome shoppers with a friendly attitude and introduce them to products, stock availability, and current store promotions with confidence.
- Keep customer-facing sales floor areas tidy, clean, and well-presented at all times.
- Answer questions about products, sizing, and store services clearly and professionally.
- Handle customer requests quickly, professionally, and with genuine care to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Ensure every person who walks through our doors leaves with a memorable impression.
Daily Operations & Stock Handling
- Help set up store displays for the day and keep retail operations running efficiently.
- Unpack, check, and organise stock deliveries, promotional materials, or store equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming inventory and stockroom organization.
- Follow health, safety, and operational standards across all sales floor areas.
- Pitch in with cash handling, checkout, and administrative tasks whenever needed.
Team Collaboration & Learning
- Work closely with your colleagues to hit daily store targets and operational goals.
- Jump in to support team members across different tasks during peak trading hours.
- Attend regular shift briefings, morning catch-ups, and on-the-job training sessions.
- Share practical ideas with team leads on how we can improve our daily customer service and sales floor workflow.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience in customer service, retail, sales, hospitality, or team support is great to have, but it isn’t essential. We care much more about your attitude, energy, and eagerness to learn—full hands-on training will be provided from day one.
