We are a Busy and growing Industrial Packaging Company located in the Newton Heath of Manchester are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper, with Office Management and Account Management experience, who can work with our accounts system Sage 50 and manage the accounts processes on a day-to-day basis within the office.

As a strategic Business Unit, we must report into HQ monthly and so it is vital our accounts are accurate and processed on time in line with internal procedures.

In addition to this your duties as Senior Bookkeeper will be as follows:

General Accounts Duties:

· General duties including filing and data inputting

· Processing Purchase Orders

· Invoicing

· Updating of Purchase Ledger

· Dealing with general accounts queries from customer and suppliers.

· Keeping all client information up to date and current

· Reconciliation of Bank Account.

· Chasing Statements

· Supplier Payments

· Keeping Sage Up to date

· Credit Applications

· VAT Quarterly

· Closing of Sales Ledger by the 2nd of each Month – Ensuring internal procedure is followed

· Closing of Purchase Ledger by the 4th of each Month

· Purchase Order System Management

· Credit Control – Chasing on a weekly basis and ensuring we keep on target for cash flow

· Euro Account

· Monthly and Weekly Reporting to management

· Processing of monthly payroll on Sage

Office Management (Full time role)

· Management of process and procedures within the offices

· Producing EOM management internal presentation.

· Support for annual audits

· Renewals of phone, energy and insurance

· Support to General manager on annual budgets

· Support to General manager on EOM reporting, budget tracking and projects

· Dealing with any supplier disputes

· Management of suppliers – IT – Phones – Energy – Insurance

· Ensuring all HQ deadline are met during month end period.

Senior Bookkeeper – What we need from you:

Experience with a purchase order system and have a good knowledge of Sage 50, which we want to get more use from.

Essential

· Accounting: 3 years

· Must have 3 years of Sage experience using Sage line 50 ONLY -

KPI bonus of £1800.00 per annum

Christmas Bonus - Average week salary
