Sports Coach — Primary Schools (Freelance)
6–8 Hours Per Week
£25 per hour | Blackley
We're growing our team at FIFTH Movement and looking for freelance sports coaches to join us delivering sessions across our partner primary schools.
This isn't a role for someone who turns up and wings it. We work in schools that trust us, and we need coaches who take that seriously.
What the role involves
You'll deliver structured lunchtime and after-school multi-sport sessions across KS1 and KS2. Sessions typically cover football, basketball, dodgeball, tag rugby, fundamental movement skills and other multi-sport activities.
Day to day you'll be planning and running sessions independently, managing behaviour confidently, and making sure every child, including those with SEND can take part fully.
Who we're looking for
- Level 2 Sports Coaching qualification or similar
- Enhanced DBS (in date)
- Experience delivering sport to primary-aged children
- Strong behaviour management
- Able to plan sessions without pre-written lesson plans
- Reliable transport or ability to travel between schools
Punctuality, preparation and professionalism aren't optional, schools depend on us to get it right every time.
What you get
- £25 per hour
- Consistent weekly work in established schools
- Autonomy within a clear framework
- Support from our operations team
- Real impact on children's physical development
