We Believe Media is an agile creative agency specialising in high-impact visual content for consumer-centric retail and e-commerce brands. We create outstanding photography, videography, animation, graphic design, content strategy, and full campaign production.
The Role
We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager with 5+ years of experience to accelerate our growth. Reporting directly to the Co-Founders, you will take ownership of new client acquisition, build strategic relationships, and convert opportunities into ongoing projects and retainers in the retail and e-commerce sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with retail and e-commerce brands
- Conduct targeted outreach (LinkedIn, email, calls, events) and nurture senior relationships with Marketing Directors, E-commerce Heads, and Brand Managers
- Develop compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and CRM tracking
- Collaborate with our creative, strategy, and production teams to ensure proposals are competitive and deliverable
- Support seamless onboarding of new clients to the Account Management team
- Contribute to overall growth strategy alongside the Co-Founders
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in business development or sales, ideally in a creative agency, media production, digital marketing, or similar B2B services environment
- Proven track record of winning and closing new business consistently
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to build long-term client relationships
- Self-motivated with a positive, resilient, and collaborative attitude
- Understanding of retail/e-commerce marketing and visual content production is a strong advantage
