Due to continued growth and expansion, MAC Engineering & Welding Services Ltd is looking for an experienced and motivated Engineering Technician / Hydraulic Engineer to help drive the next chapter of our business forward.

Our engineers work throughout the UK, delivering a wide range of engineering services including:
- Hydraulic & pneumatic repairs
- Engineering support
- Health & Safety installations
- Garage equipment inspections, servicing & repairs
- Fabrication & welding
- On-site servicing and breakdown support
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who has:
- A minimum of 3 years' engineering experience (less experience may be considered for the right candidate)
- Good working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- The ability to work independently, use their own initiative and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confidence using Windows-based tablets, Microsoft Office and other digital applications
- A Full UK Driving Licence
- The Right to Work in the UK
Desirable Skills
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
- Fabrication and welding experience
- Experience working on commercial garage equipment
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Based from our workshop at:
Unit 3, DJN Business Centre
Southwell Road West
Mansfield
NG21 0HW
Applicants must be within commuting distance of our workshop.
Our work is carried out both within our workshop and on customer sites across the UK, meaning no two days are the same.
As many of our customers operate nationwide, occasional overnight stays will be required. Accommodation and expenses are fully paid by the company.
Working hours will vary depending on customer location and operational requirements, although our standard workshop hours are:
Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
A company van will be provided for business use during working hours and will remain at the workshop outside of working hours.
Job Type: Full-time – 39-hour contract + paid travel + overtime
Pay: £13.00 – £18.50 per hour (depending on experience)
