As we continue our ambitious growth, we are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Agricultural Aftersales Technician to join our team. This is far more than a traditional service role. You'll become a key ambassador for Horizon, working directly with dealers, distributors and customers around the world, helping them get the very best from our products while providing valuable feedback that influences the next generation of Horizon machinery.

What You'll Be Doing
- Travel throughout the UK and internationally to commission, set up and provide technical support for Horizon machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve hydraulic, electrical and mechanical issues, both on-site and remotely.
- Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics to identify faults quickly and accurately.
- Carry out Product Verification and Validation (PV&V) of new machines and components, ensuring they meet Horizon's high standards of quality and performance.
- Deliver engaging technical training to our global dealer network, enabling them to provide outstanding support to customers.
- Support warranty investigations and claims, ensuring they are processed accurately and in line with company procedures.
- Build strong relationships with dealers and customers, providing exceptional technical support and resolving issues professionally.
- Document field non-conformances and product feedback, helping to drive continuous improvement across our product range.
- Work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure customer feedback is translated into future product development.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys working independently, thrives on solving problems and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer support.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience as an Agricultural Machinery Technician, Field Service Engineer or similar role within the agricultural machinery industry.
- The ability to train, mentor and support our growing global dealer network in delivering exceptional customer service.
- A strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems, with the ability to confidently interpret technical schematics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to a wide range of audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a practical, hands-on approach.
- Experience in Product Verification and Validation (PV&V) would be an advantage.
- Good standards of maths, English and IT literacy.
- A full UK driving licence.
- A willingness to travel throughout the UK and internationally.
