Role Purpose:
The purpose of the role is to assist the warehouse Team Leaders and Managers to ensure the smooth running of all warehouse duties, loading or unloading of trailers, full pallet and case picking, receiving stock, cleaning and cycle counts. Working both alone and as part of a team, this role is a combination of using mechanical handling equipment and manual handling.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibility for location of stock receipts into the warehouse after ensuring that the paperwork and goods are correct, raising any discrepancies to the Team Leaders and Managers.
- Responsibility for picking goods from stock as and when required as directed by the Team Leaders or Managers.
- Operation of mechanical handling equipment (Counterbalance, Pivot, Reach and Pedestrian pallet trucks) to move pallets around the warehouse in order to meet business needs.
- To ensure that goods are loaded and unloaded as directed by the Team Leader or Manager ensuring that goods are correct and not damaged.
- To perform stock movements as required in accordance with the Company’s procedures.
- Full adherence to health and safety policy and procedures at all times, reporting any broken, defective or faulty equipment to a manager to ensure the safety of all staff.
- The ideal candidate will have counterbalance or pivot forklift truck experience and warehousing/manufacturing experience, although full training will be provided.
