Full job description

IT support Technician - 1st/2nd nd Line

Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm
Location: Office-based (with occasional travel to client sites)

Duties

Answer help desk calls, Monitor Help Desk portal, RMM systems.
Helping clients with their day-to-day issues, mainly by providing telephone and remote support with some site visits to client sites on the occasions.
Assist internal staff with various IT projects, new client on-boarding.
Assist internal staff with 2nd-3rd line support tasks on internal Infrastructure, Data centre visits for hardware upgrades.
take ownership of support cases from logging, troubleshooting through to resolution.
maintain helpdesk documentations.

You'll get exposure to Citrix, Cloud Desktops, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Windows 11, cyber security, backup and disaster recovery, computer and network hardware, HCI infrastructure etc

Skills and Experience

you will need to be passionate about technology and have strong communication skills.

Microsoft Windows Server technologies experience : Hyper V, AD/DNS/DHCP, Group policies and so on.
Computer/Server hardware configuration, installation and troubleshooting.
Microsoft 365 experience.
Networking skills : manage/configure firewalls/routers/switches.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Excellent time-management skills and ability to multitask
Previous experience of working in similar role for MSP is a plus.
knowledge of Citrix technologies like Virtual APPS is a plus.
knowledge of VOIP telephony is a plus.

Need to have:

At least 2 year experience in an IT support environment
A full UK drivers' licence.
Authorised to work in UK.

Pay: £26,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
