We’re building something exciting in Brixham and we’re looking for talented chefs to join us on the journey.
Our hospitality group has recently acquired Beamers, which is about to undergo a major transformation into an exciting new 150+ cover multi-concept venue, combining a relaxed all-day café & bar with a premium dining experience upstairs following an extensive redevelopment.
We’re now recruiting chefs to join us from July, ahead of this next phase - giving you the opportunity to be involved from the beginning and help shape the kitchen, menus, standards and future of the venue.

The Opportunity
We're looking for experienced, energetic and talented Chefs with a passion to do a great job, we have positions available starting end of June / early July for a Chef de Partie, Commis Chef and Sous Chef. If you're looking for the next step in your career, taking you to the next level, this may be a great opportunity. You must however have a true passion for food. Fast paced line cooks also welcome to apply. Salary and wage is flexible and based on experience and to be discussed at interview stage. (In addition we are also filling a position at Olive in Brixham too - our Mediterranean Restaurant)
Beamers currently operates as an evening venue with weekend daytime trading, but the vision is much bigger.
Following the refit, the venue will become:
- A vibrant all-day café & bar downstairs
- Premium dining upstairs
- Open seven days a week from 9am–11pm
- One of Brixham’s standout hospitality destinations

We’re Looking For Chefs Who:
- Have experience working in busy kitchens
- Care about quality, presentation and consistency
- Bring energy, passion and pride to service
- Thrive under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced environment
- Have strong standards and attention to detail
- Want to contribute ideas and help shape menus
- Love hospitality and creating great guest experiences
Whether you’re an experienced Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or Senior Chef looking for the next step, we want ambitious people who want to grow with the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing and delivering high-quality dishes
- Maintaining excellent kitchen standards
- Supporting menu development and new concepts
- Working alongside management during the venue expansion and launch
- Helping create a strong kitchen culture
- Contributing ideas, creativity and passion to the business

Salary based on position applied for, experience, knowledge and ability. This will be discussed at interview stage.
