Full job description

Olital is looking for a reliable and hands-on WEEE Recycling Operative to support day to day operations at our facility. You will be working with a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment, helping us test, repair and dismantle items safely and efficiently while supporting our commitment to sustainable waste management.

Key Responsibilities

Sorting and handling WEEE materials and directing them into the correct recycling streams
Inspecting and assessing incoming items to meet recycling and compliance standards
Operating a forklift to move pallets
Assisting with dismantling electrical items where required
Following all health, safety and environmental regulations
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Working as part of a team to meet daily operational targets
Supporting collections and deliveries when needed, using company vehicles
Carrying out other duties relevant to the role as required

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in recycling, waste management or warehouse work is preferred
Forklift experience and confidence operating lifting equipment
Good understanding of workplace health and safety
Mechanical aptitude or experience dismantling electrical equipment is an advantage
Physically capable of lifting and moving equipment
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
