Full job description

South West Metal Finishing is a leading provider of high-quality metal finishing and surface treatment services. We are committed to delivering exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

This is a varied and busy office-based role that is essential to the smooth running of our operations. You will provide administrative support across the business, liaise with customers, process orders, and help ensure our systems and records remain accurate and up to date.

Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming telephone calls, take messages, redirect calls and respond to customer enquiries.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the company computer system.
Book jobs onto the system, ensuring customer purchase order details are entered correctly.
Produce delivery notes with accurate delivery and collection information.
Prepare invoices, ensuring correct prices and charges are applied, including minimum order, priority and administration charges where required.
Create and amend AQPs and Datacards in line with customer requirements.
Carry out general administrative duties including scanning, filing and maintaining records.
Assist with stock checks and requisitioning.
Support colleagues and undertake other ad hoc administrative duties as required.

Possess strong organisational and time management skills.
Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
Be confident working independently as well as part of a team.
Demonstrate a positive, flexible and proactive approach to work.
