As a Feed & Barn Service Engineer, you'll install, commission, maintain and support advanced technology including the Lely Juno, Lely Discovery Collector and Lely Calm automatic calf feeder.
If you enjoy hands-on engineering, solving technical challenges and working directly with customers, this could be the perfect role for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
As part of our growing technical team, you'll:
- Carry out site surveys and installation planning for innovative barn equipment, including the Lely Discovery Collector and Juno Flex
- Install, commission and maintain advanced feed and barn systems
- Play an active role in introducing exciting new products and technologies to our customers
- Use specialist software and tools to measure barns and accurately plan installations
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and software updates
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot technical issues and provide expert customer support
- Deliver training and technical guidance to customers and colleagues
- Manage service tickets through Lely's self-service support platform (LSS)
- Support internal teams and MS Teams channels with service-related queries
- Travel throughout the Lely Center region to support our customers
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone who is technically capable, proactive and excited by the opportunity to work with the latest agricultural technology.
You'll ideally have:
- A strong interest in engineering, technology and agricultural innovation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a logical, practical approach
- Confidence using IT systems, software and data collection tools
- The ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
- A self-motivated attitude and a willingness to continuously learn and develop
Previous experience in agricultural machinery or farming technology would be an advantage, but enthusiasm, technical ability and a willingness to learn are just as important.
