Helping create safer homes. Developing future talent. Making sure we do things the right way.
At Abri, we're committed to providing homes that are safe, secure and well cared for. That's why we're looking for an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join our Safer Homes team.
This is a role where your expertise genuinely matters. You'll be the person helping us maintain excellent standards across our electrical services, ensuring compliance, supporting our electricians and apprentices, and giving customers confidence that their homes are in safe hands.
You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, providing technical guidance, carrying out quality audits and overseeing certification. Just as importantly, you'll help shape the future of our trade teams by supporting and developing our electrical apprentices as they build their careers with us.
What you'll be doing
No two days will look exactly the same, but you'll spend your time:
-
Being the NICEIC-approved Qualified Supervisor for electrical works delivered across Abri.
-
Ensuring electrical certification is accurate, compliant and signed off promptly.
-
Carrying out quality audits and using your expertise to drive high standards across our electrical workstreams.
-
Supporting electricians with technical advice and guidance when complex issues arise.
-
Helping resolve customer concerns, bringing reassurance and practical solutions when needed.
-
Coaching, mentoring and developing electrical apprentices, helping them gain the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
-
Championing a strong culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement across the team.
About you
You'll be someone who takes pride in doing things properly and enjoys supporting others to do the same.
You'll bring strong technical knowledge, experience in inspection and testing, and a collaborative approach that helps colleagues grow and thrive. Whether you're signing off certification, supporting an apprentice or helping a customer find a solution, you'll always focus on delivering the right outcome.
You'll hold the relevant electrical qualifications, have experience working to the latest BS7671 standards, and be confident providing technical oversight across a range of electrical works.
What's in it for you?
At Abri, we believe that when our people thrive, our communities thrive too.
You'll join a supportive team where your knowledge is valued, your development matters, and your contribution makes a real difference. In return, you'll have the opportunity to influence standards, develop future talent and play a key role in helping us deliver safer homes for thousands of customers.
If you're passionate about electrical safety, enjoy developing others and want to make a real difference for customers, we'd love to hear from you.
We’ll review and interview suitable candidates as they apply. If we receive enough applications, we'll close the advert early so be sure to apply today so you don’t miss out!
