Position: Payroll administrator & Bookkeeper
Location: Bude, Cornwall
Job Type: Part-Time
Salary: Dependant on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator & Bookkeeper to join our small team at our office in Bude. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting day-to-day accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

Process monthly payroll accurately and on time. Including dealing with CIS and auto enrolment pensions.
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Handle payroll queries from clients and liaise with relevant authorities when required.
Reconcile bank accounts and financial statements.
Prepare MTD submissions
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using accounting software.
General office administration

Requirements

Previous experience in payroll administration.
Book-keeping experience desirable
Knowledge of payroll regulations and accounting principles.
Knowledge of accounting software preferable – VT, Xero, Quickbooks
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
