Full job description

To support the Project Quality Manager deliver a professional Quality Management service within resource, programme and budgetary constraints, which satisfies legislative, regulatory, company and customer requirements. The Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the specific Quality requirements are identified, implemented and maintained concurrent with the project life cycle and will hold current CSWIP, BGAS or PCN certification. In addition, the Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for managing the Inspection resource, with regard to availability and location to support specific work packages and off site supply chain activities

Qualifications: Essential

Be a Practitioner of the Chartered Quality Institute or Associate Member of an appropriate engineering institution
Higher level technical qualification (HNC or HND) in Quality Management, Project Management or related engineering discipline
Auditor qualification by recognised industry body
Formal training in root cause analysis techniques
CSWIP 3.2 Senior Inspector
BGAS or PCN Level 2 for NDT techniques

BGAS or PCN Level 2 for Coating Inspectors

Desirable

Chartered Member of the Chartered Quality Institute
Batcheler Degree in Quality Management, Project Management or related engineering discipline
Lead Auditor qualification
CSWIP/BGAS Senior Pipeline Inspector
Relevant CSCS card
