Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to oversee and coordinate electrical testing and certification processes within our organisation. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations, providing leadership and technical expertise to the electrical team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to critical safety assessments and maintain high-quality electrical standards across projects. Strong analysis skills are essential to evaluate test results, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate electrical qualification testing activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
Lead a team of electrical technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Analyse test data and results meticulously to verify compliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and review testing procedures, ensuring they meet technical specifications and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to plan testing schedules and deliverables.
Maintain detailed documentation of all testing activities, results, and certifications for audit purposes.
Identify potential electrical issues or non-conformities during testing phases and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated, maintained, and used correctly in accordance with manufacturer instructions.

Qualifications

Proven experience in electrical testing, certification, or related supervisory roles within the electrical industry.
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of relevant safety standards, regulations, and certification processes.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in electrical engineering or related fields are preferred. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality within the electrical sector.

Pay: £30.00-£31.00 per hour
