Shift & Pay
· Day Shift: Monday to Friday
· Hours: 6:00am – 4:00pm Mon to Thurs; 6:00am – 2:00pm Friday (44 hours paid)
· Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour average
· Regular overtime available at enhanced rates
Key Responsibilities
· Safely loading, unloading, and moving steel products throughout the warehouse and processing facility.
· Picking and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
· Operating overhead cranes and forklift trucks (following induction training).
· Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock.
· Supporting saw, drill, and processing operations by supplying materials as required.
· Maintaining accurate stock locations and inventory records.
· Ensuring all materials are handled and stored safely.
· Carrying out routine housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
· Following all company health, safety, and quality procedures.
· Working as part of a team to meet customer and operational requirements.
What We're Looking For
· Previous experience in a warehouse, steel stockholding, manufacturing, or materials handling environment is an advantage but not essential.
· Overhead crane and forklift experience beneficial, but full training can be provided.
· Good attention to detail and accuracy.
· Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
· Physically capable of working in a busy industrial environment.
· Must be a strong team player.
· Awareness of health & safety within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
