Quarriers Homelife Girvan Service provides flexible, person-centred support to people with mental health needs, physical disabilities, and learning disabilities—helping individuals live independently in their own homes and communities.
We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable Part-Time Support Worker (25 hours per week) to join our team. This is a varied role where flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the people we support as you work a variety of shifts over 7 days.
What you’ll be doing
You will play an important role in supporting individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives. This includes:
- Providing individualised care and support
- Encouraging people to take responsibility and make informed choices
- Supporting individuals to develop daily living skills
- Promoting access to social, leisure, and work-related activities
- Working in partnership with families and external agencies
Support is tailored to each individual and can range from a few hours a week to more intensive packages.
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is flexible and able to adapt to changing needs and shift patterns
- Is kind, patient, and respectful in their approach
- Has a genuine interest in supporting people to live independently
- Can work both independently and as part of a team
- Holds a full driving licence (preferred)
Previous experience is welcome but not essential—we’re more interested in your values and commitment.
