Full job description

Alect Electrical Services - we need you

Due to continued expansion, we are looking to add a billing clerk to our already existing team to work within our busy Repairs department. The role will have responsibility for the accurate and timing processing of sales invoices for specific Housing Association clients.

Critical impact areas include:

Responsible for accurately billing specific customer accounts in line with agreed SLA and customer agreements.
Deal with any queries arising with customers relating to invoices raised.
Have an understanding of Schedule of Rates.
Ensure invoices are raised in a timely manner.

Qualification & Capability

Previous billing experience.
Good organisational skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail.
Demonstrate an enthusiastic approach with the ability to use own initiate to solving problems.
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Competent with Microsoft Packages (Word/Excel/Outlook) & have a professional telephone manner

Desirable

Previous experience of working in Social Housing would be a distinct advantage

Hours: 9 – 5 Mon - Fri
