About the Team

The Work Health Hub is an integral industry engagement programme within the University’s business portfolio. The aim of the Hub is to work with organisations of any size and sector to empower and support everyone within the workplace, to create a culture that invests in human sustainability.

Through our preventative and proactive approach, we aim to challenge stigma, promote early intervention, and advocate for psychologically safe working environments, where people can thrive. The Hub sits within the College of Health and Humanities, providing strong links with academic colleagues and networks to explore additional funding and expand research and consultancy activity in the field.

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative and Impact Coordinator to join the brilliant Work Health Hub and play a pivotal role in the University's industry engagement portfolio.

The main purpose of the role is to provide customer focused, efficient business administration and Hub support service within the Work Health Hub. This initiative supports the development and delivery of innovative and sustainable health and well-being interventions, supporting a diverse range of industries throughout the UK.

In this role, you will support the wider team to achieve the project aims and outputs and the development and delivery of online and face-to-face events, campaigns, and marketing activity, to ensure the success of the Work Health Hub.

Key responsibilities include:

To provide administrative support for The Work Health Hub, including management of memberships, marketing, and the design and development of material for the hub platform.
To write and publish the ‘Paper to People’ initiative that seeks to bridge the gap between academia and business – condensing research findings into more accessible formats.
To collate and coordinate data and information to measure impact of Hub initiatives, working alongside colleagues across the University to maximise exposure of impact.
To nurture effective working relationships with business development staff across the institution.
To support delivery of key workshops as part of an organisations action plan.
To support key market engagement events throughout the year, promote the Work Health Hub and generate new business opportunities.
To actively promote the Hub platform across social media platforms and produce regular posts to promote Hub activity and wellbeing initiatives
To create case studies to demonstrate impact, feeding into The Higher Education Business and Community Interaction Survey (HE-BCI) and Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2029

About You

Our ideal candidate will be educated to A-Level standard with GCSE level C or above in Maths and English or equivalent significant work-based experience. You should have experience of working in an administration environment in a service setting (including minute taking), experience of supporting projects, and promoting a programme or service across various networks.

You should have strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships, and good attention to detail, including proof reading skills and the ability of maintain a high level of accuracy.

We are looking for a candidate who has the ability to compile, coordinate and produce key performance reports, where required, to design and develop new content and initiatives for the Hub, and maximise digital marketing opportunities including the use of social media.

An understanding of the UK's Workplace Health and Wellbeing Agenda and Get Britain Working White Paper is desirable.

Principal accountabilities
