Job Title: Site Supervisor

Location: Brownhills, Walsall (WS9 9DL)
Salary: Up to £23.00 per hour (depending on experience/tickets)
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary-to-Permanent / Long-term Contract
Start Date: Immediate

Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and reliable Labourers to work at mainly local commercial sites, including filling stations, with the potential for occasional nights away. This is an immediate start for a hardworking individual experienced in all aspects of civil engineering groundwork, from foundations to final finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Construction

Drainage and pipelaying tasks.
Excavation, trenching, and backfilling.
Foundations and internal drainage works.
Laying kerbing and edging.
Operating plant and machinery (Dumper/Roller) if tickets are held.
Working to site plans and adhering to high quality and safety standards.

Safety & Compliance

· Hazard checks: Identifying and fixing onsite risks.

· Safety training: Leading toolbox talks and inductions.

· Regulations: Enforcing PPE and legal safety standards.

Operations & Logistics

· Crew management: Overseeing daily tasks for all workers.

· Resource planning: Ordering materials and managing equipment.

· Scheduling: Keeping the project timeline on track.

Quality & Communication

· Inspections: Ensuring work matches drawings and H&S is porting: Updating management on progress, including daily diaries and required paperwork.

Requirements:

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
You are able to get yourself to and from our Midlands base (WS9 9DL).
Valid CSCS Card (Essential).
Valid CPCS or NPORS Card preferable (Ideally for Dumper/Roller/Excavator).
SSSTS preferable
Proven experience in groundworks (minimum 2+ years).
Own PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, boots).
Site are usually 8:00am - 16:30/17:30 depending on task at hand, meeting at our yard in Brownhills at 6:30am.
You have your own hand tools
