The Role
As Customer & Sales Support Team Leader, you'll support the Customer & Sales Support Manager in the day-to-day leadership and development of the Customer Support and Sales Support teams. You'll play a key role in ensuring project pipelines, lead management, quotation processing, and customer service standards are delivered efficiently while helping the team achieve productivity and performance targets.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and experience working within a fast-paced sales support or customer service environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support the Customer & Sales Support Manager with the daily management and development of the Customer Support and Sales Support teams.

Lead, coach and develop team members through inductions, ongoing training and performance support.

Promote and champion a positive Health & Safety culture, ensuring all team members understand and follow company procedures.

Monitor the quality and accuracy of leads logged within Keylink.

Ensure lead, quotation and customer data is recorded accurately and within agreed timescales.

Manage customer enquiries, ensuring prompt, professional and effective resolution.

Foster a customer-first culture, delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.

Coordinate requests and communication between internal departments and external sales teams.

Produce reports for key customers and senior management.

Support the Sales Support Manager with departmental administration and reporting.

Maintain effective communication across departments to ensure seamless customer service.

Provide cover across team functions when required.

In the absence of the Customer & Sales Support Manager, oversee team performance and day-to-day operations.

Ensure departmental objectives align with wider regional and company goals.

Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role and within your capability.
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:

Previous experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role within Customer Service, Sales Support or a similar environment.

Excellent leadership, coaching and people development skills.

Outstanding customer service and relationship management abilities.

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Confidence managing workloads, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across departments.

Experience using CRM systems.

IT skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality results.
