Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. This club started February 2024, still relatively new, running on Sunday's only. Preferably, the ideal candidate will have a background in sports coaching and a desire to educate young athletes in the art of gymnastics. This role involves working with recreational gymnasts of various skill levels, helping them develop their techniques, strength, and confidence in a supportive environment. Age range is preschool and primary school.

Responsibilities

Help to deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to the needs of individual gymnasts.
Teach fundamental gymnastics skills on Beam, Junior Bars, Vault and Floor
Provide constructive feedback to athletes to enhance their performance and technique.
Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes teamwork and sportsmanship.
Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Experience in sports coaching, particularly in gymnastics or related disciplines.
Ability to educate and inspire young athletes through effective communication.
Excellent time keeping skills
An understanding of gymnastics techniques and safety practices.
Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with children and young adults.
Ability to motivate individuals and build their confidence in their abilities.
