Could you inspire hope for people who are struggling with their mental health?
Second Step is a leading mental health charity supporting people across Bristol and the Southwest. We provide innovative, trauma-informed support to people experiencing complex needs, including mental health difficulties, homelessness, substance misuse and contact with the criminal justice system. Our services are built around recovery, choice and co-production, putting people at the heart of everything we do.
We are recruiting a Senior Recovery Navigator to join our Access Community Mental Health Team in BaNES (with the office in Bath) to manage Recovery Navigators to enable them to work collaboratively with the client, GP, and other health and care professionals to ensure people with moderate-serious mental health needs are supported to connect to their community, to build resilience and to improve their wellbeing. To hold a caseload of clients, helping them set and achieve personal recovery goals and connect to meaningful support within their community.
As part of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Partnership in Bath and Northeast Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW), Second Step delivers community mental health support in collaboration with Alabaré, Missing Link and Nilaari. Together, we’re transforming mental health services by focusing on trauma-informed, person-centered, and culturally inclusive approaches.
