Duties
- Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and effectively to wash, dry, and fold linens and garments
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and washing requirements to prevent damage and ensure optimal cleaning results
- Inspect all items for stains, tears, or other damages, reporting issues promptly for repair or replacement
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, ensuring all tools and supplies are organized and sanitized regularly
- Follow established procedures for handling delicate fabrics or special cleaning instructions
- Manage inventory of laundry supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents
- Assist with delivering clean linens to designated areas promptly to support smooth operational flow
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality laundry environment is highly preferred
- Knowledge of commercial laundry equipment operation and safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads comfortably
