Full job description

We are looking for a reliable, organised and customer-focused Administrator to join our team on an initial 6-month temporary contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.

This is a varied role combining customer service, telephone support, general administration and transport subcontractor coordination. The successful candidate will be confident communicating with customers and subcontractors, able to manage multiple tasks, and comfortable working in a busy environment.

Handle customer calls, emails and general enquiries
Provide professional customer service and administrative support
Book, allocate and coordinate transport jobs
Liaise with transport subcontractors and manage job requirements
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
Follow up on outstanding jobs and resolve day-to-day queries
Work closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service

About You

Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks
Confident communicating with customers and subcontractors
Good telephone manner and strong communication skills
IT literate with good attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in administration, customer service, transport, logistics or subcontractor coordination would be an advantage, but is not essential as training will be provided.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.

This is initially a 6-month temporary position, with potential for the role to become permanent depending on business requirements and the individual's performance and suitability for the role.

Pay: £25,500.00 per year
