Full job description

Job Overview
Our company is seeking a VAT Clerk to join our team. The VAT Clerk will be responsible for data entry for the purpose of assisting in preparing VAT returns for clients. Although this role does not necessarily require previous experience with processing VAT returns, it is a bonus. More importantly, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate that they are keen to learn with guidance from the VAT Senior how to use VT Software to enter and process VAT returns. Basic computer literacy is needed for this role in order to enter data accurately, timely and efficiently.

This position requires working well in a team and communicating with other team members effectively. You will also need to communicate with our clients regularly, asking to provide documents and letting them know of any payments to be made. The position also requires a good grasp of Turkish language, as most of our client base are Turkish speaking.

Duties

Data entry for processing VAT returns activities
Coordinate with VAT Senior to ensure returns are processed accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Contacting clients to request records, payments of tax or fees etc.

Skills

Keen to learn about VAT and how to use VT Software
Good Turkish-speaking skills
Strong teamworking skills
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with others in the office and with clients

The position offered can be fulfilling work with a friendly work environment. A prospect to increase salary as experience is gained in this role will be reviewed within 6 months.

Pay: From £16,250.00 per year

Education:

A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

Language:

Turkish (preferred)
