Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of charity night hub/shelter, for staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for searching hub visitors on arrival to the site, Ensuring the Night Manager & visitors are in a safe environment.

Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV to observe activity across the premises.
- Conduct regular internal patrols of the site to identify potential security breaches or hazards.
- Enforce access control procedures by conducting visitor searches on visitor arrivals
- Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorised access through vigilant observation and intervention.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and document any suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Assist with first aid procedures when required, providing support until emergency services arrive.
- Ensure all security protocols are followed consistently to uphold safety standards.
Requirements
- SIA License Door Supervisor or CP
- Proven experience in physical Intervention, loss prevention, or security roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
- Ability to remain calm and composed during emergencies or high-pressure situations.
- First aid certification is a must with confidence of assisting in the event of injuries
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and professionally.
- Physical fitness to perform PI and respond swiftly when needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays as required. This role offers a vital position within our organisation dedicated to maintaining a safe environment for all employees and visitors through proactive security measures and vigilant oversight.
Shift Pattern: 4 Night on 4 Nights off 21:00hrs-08:00hrs
Overtime within the company available to cover holidays and sickness
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
