Description

Learning Curve Group's People Team plays a vital role in creating an exceptional colleague experience across the organisation. As a Business Services Apprentice, you will support a range of administrative activities across People Services, Recruitment, and Compliance, whilst continuing to provide a welcoming front-of-house service.

This is a varied role that offers valuable exposure to HR, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, learning, and development administration. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will develop practical business administration skills whilst completing your apprenticeship qualification.

Role Information

DUTIES
Reception & Front of House Support

Provide professional reception cover and create a positive first impression for visitors.
Meet, greet and sign in visitors in line with company procedures.
Maintain a welcoming, professional and organised reception environment.
Handle incoming telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries.
Follow building security procedures and escalate concerns as appropriate.
Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and courier collections.
Support with company orders and office supplies.
Assist with issuing uniforms, lanyards and access fobs to employees and learners
Prepare meeting and training rooms where required, including refreshments

People Administration Support

Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
Support the administration of learning and development activities, including tracking mandatory training completion.
Checking completion of mandatory CPD requirements.
Assist with gathering employee information and records as required.
Complete administration activities relating to employee engagement initiatives and reporting.
Support the People Team with general administrative duties and project work.

Recruitment & Compliance Support

Support recruitment administration activities across the employee lifecycle.
Collect candidate information and supporting documentation.
Issue Right to Work and DBS checks and support the processing of outcomes.
Update recruitment and onboarding systems with accurate compliance information.
Upload new starters to relevant learning and assessment platforms and provide access guidance.
Record compliance outcomes within company systems.
Monitor DBS renewal reports and support follow-up activities.
Support onboarding administration to ensure a smooth new starter experience.

General Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality and handle information appropriately.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business.

Undertake any other reasonable duties commensurate with the level of the role.

You must not currently hold a L3 in Business Administration
You must have the right to work in the UK, and valid residency status to apply for this apprenticeship
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work accurately and maintain confidentiality.
Willingness to learn and develop

Apprenticeship Training
Upon successful appointment, the apprentice will complete the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship
