Building a sustainable tomorrow

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Document Controller to join our Construction Segment, based in Middlesbrough. This is a 12 month Fixed term contract.

Making Possible

You will be responsible for a range of responsibilities, including:

Information Management, Managing the controlled flow of drawings, models and technical information through the project Common Data Environment (BAM Source/BIM 360 / ACC) in line with ISO 19650 / PAS1192 standards

Focus on managing the flow of contract-led information and process within the common data environment. This includes handling of formal instructions, queries, variations, project registers, general correspondence, and supporting procurement and site administration processes.
Supporting the project team to ensure it has audit-ready QA and compliance records with structured ISO-aligned handover and digital project close-out.

What do you bring to the role?

Possess excellent computer skills and willingness to expand knowledge of other applications.
Demonstrable experience of working within a similar role in construction
Preferred user of electronic document management system (EDMS) and live link.
Preferred user of BIM/Navisworks, certainly demonstrate familiarity with BIM as a concept and its place within the industry.
Excellent level of literacy and writing skills.
Good time management and able to commit and work to deadlines.
Be a team player, flexible and able to work with others.
Excellent communication skills.
