We are looking for a dedicated, hands-on General Farm Worker/Tractor Driver to join our progressive 500-cow autumn block calving dairy farm in Wimboldsley, Cheshire.
This is a diverse, hands-on role perfect for an individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys a mix of tractor driving, maintenance and dairy stock duties.
Primary duties include:
- Tractor Operations: Operating tractors for TMR feeding (including clamp management), bedding, scraping as well as silage making.
- General Farm Work/Milking: Assisting the herd team with calving, milking, moving electric fences and general stock duties as and when needed.
- Machinery Maintenance: Ensuring all machinery is well maintained, cleaned and serviced as scheduled.
- Farm Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining the water infrastructure on the farm and looking after all the field boundaries, and any other infrastructure projects we carry out.
- Keeping the farm clean and tidy
What We Are Looking For:
- An enthusiastic, hard working, adaptable individual who is keen to learn and progress
- Proven experience in operating modern agricultural machinery and tractors.
- Previous dairy or livestock experience is a massive plus, but a positive work ethic is paramount.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
