Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Grill/line Chef to join our vibrant culinary team! As a Grill Chef, you will be the master of the grill, responsible for preparing and cooking delicious grilled dishes that delight our guests. Your energetic approach to food preparation and culinary excellence will ensure every meal served is of the highest quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in a dynamic restaurant environment, where your creativity and dedication will shine through every plate.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
Manage food preparation stations efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization
Follow all food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe dining experience for guests
Assist in meal preparation, including marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to achieve perfect results every time
Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver timely service during busy hours
Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and report shortages promptly

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking fresh food, particularly on the grill
Strong knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food safety regulations
Excellent culinary skills with an eye for detail in meal presentation
Previous pub/restaurant experience preferred, with a focus on grilling techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve guests effectively
Passion for creating flavorful dishes and delivering exceptional dining experiences
