Are you organised, friendly and looking to start a rewarding career in administration while making a real difference to learners?

We're looking for a Learning Support Administration Apprentice to join our Inclusive Learning team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience while working towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship. Term Time Only(TTO) - 42 weeks per annum.

As part of our Learning Support team, you'll develop a broad range of administrative skills while helping to ensure learners with additional needs receive the support they need to thrive. If you're eager to learn, enjoy working with people and want to build a career in business administration, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do:

Be the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors to the Learning Support department.
Provide administrative support for learners with SEND and those accessing Learning Support services.
Assist with the administration of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and associated statutory processes.
Maintain accurate digital records and support data entry for funding, reporting and audit requirements.
Help coordinate meetings by arranging rooms and supporting communication with parents, carers, staff and external agencies.
Monitor and manage the Learning Support inbox, directing enquiries to the appropriate team members.
Support daily communications with students and parents/carers.
Order stationery and maintain office supplies.
Work closely with the Learning Support Administrator and Funding & Compliance Officer to ensure the smooth running of the department.

What we're looking for:

A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn.
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, or a willingness to achieve these as part of the apprenticeship.
Good ICT skills, including Microsoft Office, or a willingness to develop these further.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a range of tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work accurately and maintain confidentiality.
A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a supportive team.
Flexibility to work across College campuses when required.
