We are now recruiting Residential Support Workers to join our team to work across Pembrokeshire. We have full and part time hours available.
Overview:
Title: Residential Support Worker
Salary: £14.41 per hour (+ sleepover rate)
Location: Pembrokeshire
Shifts: We can offer a range of shifts including: 2 long days + 2 sleep-ins → 4 days off, as well as shorter domiciliary style calls within young people’s own home.
Start Date: June/July 2026
Employment Type: Full and Part time, permanent
Service: Children’s Community outreach (complex needs, trauma-informed)

Your Responsibilities:
- Build trusting, supportive relationships with young people
- Support daily routines, education, life skills and activities
- Promote independence, resilience and emotional development
- Use trauma-informed and PBS approaches
- Manage challenging behaviours professionally
- Maintain safeguarding and regulatory standards
- Complete accurate daily records and reports
- Work collaboratively with the wider care and clinical team
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Caring, patient and emotionally resilient
- Reliable, honest and professional
- Able to stay calm during challenging situations
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- Experience in children’s residential care, youth work or SEN
- Level 3 Diploma Children & Young People (or willingness to work towards)
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience supporting young people with complex needs
