Location: This role is based in The Quadrant: MK. This role is a full-time opportunity, flexible working patterns will be considered. However, under the hybrid working policy, the candidate will be required to work 60% of the time from a Network Rail location.

A little bit about the team...
The Lead Reward Analyst role is part of the Reward & Benefits Team, which sits within the Group Human Resources function. The team develops, implements and manages the delivery of the reward and recognition strategy for the company to deliver a competitive total reward package. This includes developing a reward strategy that encompasses pay, benefits, incentives and recognition that meets the needs of the business and supports attraction and retention of skills and the workforce.
What does the average day look like?
In this role, you'll manage analytical reporting for the Reward & Benefits team, providing analytical insights to a range of projects and workstreams, including pay awards, performance-related pay, pay gap reporting, remuneration and benchmarking. There will be a mix of regular reporting, ad hoc and larger scale analytical modelling. You'll also advise the wider HR team on reward and benefits where required.
You'll own your own small to medium reward projects, using your expertise to guide business recommendations. Building strong stakeholder relationships, you'll maintain benefits and policy reporting and further develop our benefits dashboards to track performance. As the team's data protection lead, you'll monitor compliance with relevant regulations.

Who are we looking for?
We and looking for a highly numerate self-starter who can multi-task a range of workstreams. They should have a wealth of experience in analytical roles, involving analysing large sets of data, data modelling, cost forecasting and spotting trends and insights and then communicating them to stakeholders.
It is essential they have advance Microsoft Excel skills. Experience of using Power BI or reward/HR experience would be desirable.
Essential Criteria
- Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant subject, such as mathematics or statistics, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience of analysing large datasets and using complex analytical frameworks to support decision making with proven ability to innovate and create solutions to complex modelling issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate and influence effectively with all levels of an organisation.
- Project management experience, delivering small to medium sized projects.
- Excellent presentation skills adjusting presentation style to differing audiences.
