Behind our success is a talented and dedicated workforce, and we're looking for an HR Transactional Coordinator to help ensure our people processes run smoothly, accurately and efficiently.
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and detail-focused HR professional who enjoys working across the full employee lifecycle while driving continuous improvement in HR systems, processes and reporting. You'll play a key role in delivering a best-in-class HR service, supporting colleagues across the business and helping us create an outstanding employee experience.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the HR Transactional Team Leader, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality HR administration and operational support while ensuring our HR processes remain compliant, efficient and people-focused.
HR Operations & Process Improvement
- Maintain and continuously improve HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance HR processes
- Ensure consistency and governance across HR activities
- Support internal and external HR audit requirements
HR Systems & Data Management
- Maintain accurate employee data within SelectHR
- Conduct regular data audits and integrity checks
- Support system enhancements, upgrades and testing activities
- Produce and analyse HR metrics, including headcount, turnover, absence and onboarding performance
- Create and maintain HR reports and dashboards for stakeholders
Employee Lifecycle Administration
- Coordinate onboarding activities and prepare employment contracts and new starter documentation
- Administer employee benefits, including pension, Cycle to Work and private healthcare schemes
- Process contractual changes, promotions and salary amendments
- Manage leaver administration and payroll notifications
- Ensure employee records are maintained accurately and in line with GDPR requirements
- Provide timely and accurate data to Payroll
Reporting & Insights
- Support the production of HR Executive Committee and Board reporting
- Provide workforce planning data and insights
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
Stakeholder Support
- Act as a trusted first point of contact for HR administrative queries
- Provide guidance on HR processes and procedures
- Support wider HR projects and initiatives
Recruitment & Onboarding
Working closely with our Talent Acquisition function, you'll help deliver an efficient recruitment and onboarding experience by:
- Supporting vacancy approvals and job advertising
- Coordinating interviews and candidate communications
- Screening applications and arranging interview schedules
- Managing pre-employment checks, references and right-to-work verification
- Supporting induction and onboarding activities for new hires

Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in an HR administration or HR coordinator role
- Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Experience using HR systems, ideally SelectHR
- Confidence producing reports and analysing HR data
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience documenting or improving HR processes
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and GDPR requirements
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A collaborative and empathetic approach when supporting colleagues
