We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly Qualified Dental Nurse/ Receptionist who is passionate about providing excellent care and eager to take on a varied and dynamic role within our dental team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to provide an exceptional patient experience and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
As a Dental Nurse, you will provide essential support to dentists and the wider dental team in delivering exceptional patient care. Your role will involve preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and infection control within the practice.
Reception Role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Outstanding Patient Care
- Welcome patients with a warm and professional manner, ensuring every patient receives an exceptional experience from arrival to departure.
- Appointment & Diary Management
- Schedule, confirm and manage patient appointments efficiently, helping to maximise diary utilisation while maintaining excellent patient communication.
- Telephone & Patient Communication
- Answer telephone calls, respond to emails and patient enquiries promptly, providing accurate information and ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Administration & Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate patient records using the practice management system, process registrations and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
- Payments & Reception Duties
- Take payments, process financial transactions, balance daily receipts and support the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area while working closely with the clinical team.
Qualifications:
- Dental Nurse certification - GDC Registration
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a patient-centered mindset.
- Proficient in handling administrative responsibilities.
